The six regions documented before Cinder’s Cradle each have five Night Sanctums. They are trap-heavy interiors; one holds the region’s best Gem Forge. Do not extend that count to the new biome without a current checklist.

Why you clear all five

You want the forge cap, not only the chest. Springlands will not socket a gem to 50 no matter which of its sanctums you clear. You still clear them because the local forge cap is higher in the sanctum than at the roadside forges. Bring a block habit. Traps are the mechanic. The Barber in Revelwood’s Elder sanctum is the appearance NPC, including the 1.0 body-proportion switch.
