You cross Embervale with a glider and a grappling hook. Water, since November 2025, adds a real dive. The hook is not a 1.0 invention.

The three tools

Equip a glider and grappling hook before using them, as Keen’s General Tips article explains. The community Ghost Glider entry locates the unique item in a gold chest atop the southeast Sun Temple in Kindlewastes, with the Among The Bluejays quest pointing to it. Obtaining it unlocks a Carpenter recipe for more. Update 4 required an already-obtained Ghost Glider to enter Albaneve Summits; it did not introduce the item. Update 7 added swimming and water building. Airborne Architect is the separate 1.0 building-flight skill.

Questions

Where is the grappling hook?

It is a crafted traversal tool on the progression path. Check the crafting menu once the recipe appears. We are not inventing an early-game vendor price.

Where is the diving helmet?

It is a water-update item. A single craft cost was not in the note we are willing to quote.
