Practical picks

Springlands for the first week, near salt and the Hunter. A Revelwood edge once clay and copper matter. A waterside plot after Update 7 if you want fishing at home. A Veilwater spot is a late luxury because the gem forge there is the best. Cinder’s Cradle is north of the basin and expects Flame progress. Do not start there. Flat stone beats a cliff unless you enjoy the ramp brush.

The safe build cube is centered on the altar. Put the altar where you want the middle, not in a corner of the house.
